Dermaplaning Training Courses

Dermaplaning is the use of a Scalpel to remove excess dead skin and also excess fine and course facial hair in women. It has the benefits of allowing for better product penetration and make-up application as well as stimulating collagen and elastin too.

Dermaplaning can be used as a stand-alone treatment or as a pre-treatment to skin peels, microdermabrasion or other ablative or electrical treatments. The treatment is similar to that of a male wet shave. A scalpel is used to gently scrape the surface of the epidermis and lift away unwanted dead cells, oils and hair.
