The objective of this course is to enable all those who attend to respond positively to the pressures and demands of modern working life and to help them identify opportunities to thrive.
Resilience is the ability to recover quickly from setbacks and adversity. Resilient people stay committed and increase their efforts when the going gets tough.
It used to be thought that people were born with resilient attributes; we now know that anyone can improve their resilience through effective training and development.
Personal resilience is arguably the most important resource for coping well during challenging times. This training course introduces delegates to skills that will increase their confidence in their ability to bounce back from the many pressures and adversities they encounter in today’s workplace.
They are reminded that a key aspect of being resilient is accepting that change frequently creates opportunities as well as problems to be solved.

Having grown up in South Africa, I have come to know first-hand the terrible impact that a lack of knowledge and skills can have on an economy. But more importantly on a person’s life. On the life and wellbeing of a family.
Conversely, I have seen how knowledge builds confidence – and confidence, success.

Starting our journey in Cape Town, South Africa, Successful Learning Solutions assisted and supported the South African government, large corporations and community colleges build confidence and skills within the previously-disadvantaged communities.
We developed sought-after business and workplace qualifications along with other professional development, management development and digital specific training programs.
As Accredited Assessors and Moderators, we assisted many previously disadvantaged community members negatively impacted by apartheid to receive the benefits and self-fulfillment of obtaining formal qualifications and certifications. Some, were even Grandparents at the time!
As I said above, nothing stands in the path of confidence.
