Diploma in Accountancy and IT

The Diploma in Accountancy and IT focus on the core skills of financial accounting and management accounting; and the wider role of the computerised accounting in business at higher levels.

 It helps students gain greater practical knowledge to embark on a successful career in accountancy and finance. 

The qualification enables students to attain Pearson LCCI Accounting Diploma and also build a solid foundation to progress into professional qualifications , such as Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

Entry requirements: 

Academic Level: 

• At least 16 years old, pass in 3 "O" Levels or equivalent (including English); OR 

• NITEC in Business Services / NITEC in Finance Services / Higher NITEC in Accounting; OR

• LCCI Certificate in Book-keeping / Introductory Certificate in Financial & Management Accounting / Intermediate Certificate in Finance & Management Accounting; OR

• Certificate in Principal of Accounts / Certificate in Book-keeping & Accounts; OR 

• Mature Entry Route (MER) Minimum age of 21 plus work experience will be assessed on a case-by-case basis

Language Proficiency: 

• Achieved a grade C6 or better in English language O Level; OR 

• Equivalent qualification e.g. IELTS 5.5/ TOEFL 550; OR

• Exceptions: Students, who have other qualifications, will be assessed on a case-by-case basis
