This independent study course consists of ten assignments that can be completed at the students own pace and earns a professional certification in environmental health & safety.

The environmental health & safety professional certificate course clarifies your responsibilities in workplace safety and environmental protection and ensures that you have both the "Know how" and the resources to meet those responsibilities.

This independent study is excellent for the new safety and/or environmental manager, the experienced safety and/or environmental manager who wants an update, or the safety and/or environmental manager who wants to achieve certification. The required amount of time to complete the course is dependent upon your knowledge of workplace safety, but we find that the average completion time is approximately 80 hours. You have up to six months to complete the course.

Requirements: this is a stand-alone course with no additional components. The ten lessons are available by computer downloads. At the end of each lesson, there are exercises to be completed and returned. When all exercises have been submitted, you will then take a final online exam.
