A home based carer provides supervised care and support to patients and household members in the home, in order to promote, restore and maintain a person’s comfort, function, spiritual wellbeing and physical health including care towards a dignified death.
Caring for a Terminally III Patient training is offered by Robin Trust Training. Robin Trust provides first-rate homebased care, sub-acute care and facilitate various training courses.
This course is one day a week, usually on a Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday, and runs for 9 weeks. This is followed by 168 hours community work at a care facility to enable each learner to gain work experience.
Palliative, home based care with acute and chronic wound management.
