Have you been searching for the perfect dress pattern but cant find it? In this class we design a dress, make a sample, fit it then sew it out of final fabrics. This class is suitable for anyone who has taken sewing 101 or has equivalent skills.
Maybe you want a simple dress to wear everyday or a cocktail dress for special events that will turn heads. Whatever your dress dreams are we will bring them to life in this class.
Day 1 - Sketching and designing the dress. We will go over all the details through sketching. I have also designed a really easy system for you to create your dress. You can choose different sleeves, necklines, bodices, skirts & details to compile together to design your look. So you do not have to be good at sketching just picking and choosing styles.
Day 2 - Pattern drafting the dress. You do not have to have pervious pattern drafting experience.
Day 3 - Cutting and sewing muslin dress
Day 4 - Pattern adjustments
Day 5 - Cut & sew original design
Day 6 - Finish original design
Class includes all supplies except final garment fabrics and notions.
