Conveniently located just a 10 minute walk from Leeds city centre in a converted textile mill, we are easily accessible and provide the perfect backdrop for activities ranging from tap-dancing to photography, with all the facilities you need to feel at home.
Our team is headed up by founder Katie who is a trained professional dancer and teacher.
Since opening in 2009, we’ve welcomed to the studios a wide variety of dance styles from belly dancing to break dancing, opened our doors to people of all abilities, and welcomed clients from the BBC, West End Theatre companies, local businesses, party planners and wedding couples, who have used the space for a wide range of activities.
Katie and her team of top class freelance dance teachers also take the benefits of dance out to schools, colleges, universities, businesses and organisations.

Upside Down Dance Academy offers various street and cultural dance classes for Adults, teenagers and children for all ages and dance levels from Rookie to Star (beginner to advance).
This class is perfect for adults who are beginners and wish to learn how to dance Hip Hop & Lite feet.
Teaching young dancers elements of Hip Hop, Jazz and Street Dance, classes improve fitness, coordination, balance and control. Children can learn new skills, gain confidence and make new friends
Street Dance encorporates various dance styles including hip hop and funk styles such as popping and locking.
