Course overview

From time to time most of us get asked to make a speech, either at a social function or at work, and if we’re not sure what to say or how to say it, the experience can be nerve-wracking.  But it doesn't have to be.

This course offers simple-to-understand and simple-to-follow solutions that anyone can use to prepare and deliver an effective speech in any situation.

You will learn how to:

• research material for a speech

• arrange your material

• write your speech

• practise your speech

• use your words to touch your audience

• use your voice and your body language to enhance your words

• channel your nerves into positive energy

• deliver your speech with maximum effect

• answer questions or interjections from your audience.

A speech should be as enjoyable for the speaker as it is for the audience and this course will help you achieve that.
