This one-day course is delivered to provide an engaging, practical, common sense approach to administering First Aid in the workplace, which can also be used at home and in everyday situations.
Practical scenarios are used to consolidate learning in a friendly, relaxed, and fun environment and our aim is to promote confidence and empower candidates to manage first aid incidents as and when they arise.
The trainer contact time is 6 hours contact time excluding breaks and registration

Content of an Emergency First Aid at Work course:
On completion of training, successful candidates should be able to understand the role of the first aider with reference to:
preventing cross-infection
recording incidents and actions
scene safety and management
primary survey
the unconscious casualty
seizures
CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation)
AED (automated external defibrillator)
choking
wounds and bleeding
shock
minor injuries including:
small cuts
grazes and bruises
minor burns and scalds
small splinters.
