This program also attracts participants who wish to learn English for personal enjoyment and get a chance to interact with people from various ethnic groups and cultures. Agapé Language Centre (ALC) is a non-sectarian, non-profit, registered charitable organization. Agape began in 1997 with the goal to help new immigrants improve their English language skills.
To accomplish this, Agapé Language Centre continues to work with a mix of experienced teachers and volunteers who empower our new neighbours and facilitate their integration into Canadian society in Calgary. These caring volunteers and trained professionals have worked hard to build a sense of community within our classes.

To help newcomers to Calgary improve their English language, understand Canadian culture, make new friends, and feel more at home in Canada. The English as a Second Language (ESL) program is provided through Fanshawe College’s English Language Institute, which is fully accredited by Languages Canada.
Power Preparation for TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge and TOEIC* preparation are highly structured, comprehensive courses of study with a proven record of success. Participants will be challenged to work hard, learn efficiently and study strategically to ensure exam success.
Our courses provide full exam practice of listening, reading, writing, and speaking sections of the exam. They also incorporate real exam content with the most recent writing and speaking topics.
Our programs (Starter to Advanced) is designed differently to focus on the particular English needs of that level and prevent students who take all levels from ever becoming bored! We also can accommodate split skills.
IELTS, CELPIP, TOEFL, CELBAN and English Language instruction for all ages and abilities in my classroom in Edmonton Canada and online around the world on zoom.
