DurationOur English for Academic Purposes (EAP) course has been specifically designed to help international students develop the English language skills required to succeed in academic study in Australia.
In this advanced English language course you'll progress your vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, speaking, pronunciation and listening skills in an academic context. As well as language skills, you'll also develop the terminology, study skills, and critical thinking required to be successful at further academic study.
Successful completion of this course will give you direct entry into any TAFE Queensland certificate or diploma course with an English language entry requirement equivalent to academic IELTS 5.5. That means you'll meet the English language entry requirements without needing to sit the IELTS test.

Kingston Academy offers General English course or ELICOS for students with non- English-speaking background. The objective of this course is to develop English skills in reading, writing, speaking and listening; preparing students for future employment opportunities and/or further studies.
Students work through a purpose written booklet of exercises and explanations of listening techniques and analysis, accompanied by practice listening tasks.
Private consultation with PTE experts is offered to each and every student so that they can clear their doubts, ask questions, and receive personalized suggestions.
