In small classes of 8 students maximum, we give our students the opportunity to brush up on their grammar, build their vocabulary and improve their pronunciation and speaking skills. We also use visits to some of the interesting places near our Midtown location to stimulate discussions.

Central to the Hi-New-York ethos is the belief that language is a window into a culture. As our students fish on the East River or take part in a cooking class at a NYC farm, they not only learn the English that is being used around them, but they also come closer to becoming true New Yorkers!
