We accept students from beginner level and support their academic journey right through to university preparation courses and university entry. Our school is located in Charing Cross, a safe and quiet area of the city. We are close to the University of Glasgow and a 10-minute walk to the vibrant West End and the City Centre.
Glasgow has the nickname ‘The Friendly City’ and is loved for its culture, museums, music, nightlife and shopping, but most of all for its people. If you travel for 45 minutes east you reach Edinburgh, if you travel 45 minutes west, you reach The Highlands. Glasgow is easy to get around by foot, bus, train or subway.
Live Language receives students from all over the world. We keep our class sizes small so teacher-student contact is maximised. Our lessons are designed to be communicative and interactive so your confidence in using the language in real situations grows. We don’t believe in lecture-style lessons.

Why Live Language?
We offer evening English language courses for students whose first language is not English.
Functional Skills is a recognised and respected qualification in English. This is a course for those who are English speakers but would like to improve their reading, writing or verbal skills, or simply want to gain a formal qualification.
Our IELTS Exam Preparation course is part-time for 6 hours per week. You will encounter a wide range of strategies to give you the best possible opportunity to achieve your desired grade. You will focus on academic reading and writing, whilst also honing your speaking and listening skills.
If you are looking for all round improvement in your English level and you are not taking a formal exam, then the ideal programme for you is one of UKCE’s General English courses.
Business English course is offered by Careli Language Services. Our courses are taught by highly qualified and experienced teacher who are extremely dedicated to ensuring you leave with all the necessary skills to broaden your horizons and never be lost for words again.
