Lingoanna provides one on one teaching to students of all ages in the Whanganui area. Lingoanna's point of difference is that sessions are solely one on one education, with a specialist teacher, as opposed to education in a classroom challenged by sheer numbers.

Anna is a fully registered, experienced teacher providing an informal, relaxed setting where children, teens and adults alike can grow in confidence and have fun whilst learning.
With 19 years of full-time classroom teaching experience both in New Zealand and overseas, Anna has a thorough working knowledge of the requirements of New Zealand education relating to National Standards, NCEA, as well as overseas education systems such as IB (International Baccalaureate), DELF (Diplome d'Etudes de la langue Francais) and Cambridge examinations.
We offer a short 40 hour IELTS exam preparation course, available to domestic and international students.
The full-time course includes more reading and writing as well as a range of options such as Grammar, Preparation for IELTS, English for Business, Vocabulary and Conversation. You can change your option regularly.
This course focuses on common language interaction in business, such as telephoning, writing business letters, meetings, and giving presentations. There is a strong focus on spoken skills and grammar, as well as an emphasis on formal writing and business-related vocabulary.
