What you will learn

This course provides participants with the information and guided practice on the machine so that new and experienced operators can demonstrate theoretical and practical competence to, or beyond, the licensing standards.
This course is designed for those who have previously completed the initial spotters course and covers compliance with working safely up to the defined safe approach distance (SAD) near energised electrical apparatus, including electrical powerlines, for non-electrical workers.
The skills and knowledge needed to operate hand and power tools in the resources and infrastructure sectors are described in this unit (RIISAM203E).
