Children 6-12 yrs old will discover the art of designing clothing in this fashion design art & illustration class. First the students will learn to draw the elongated fashion figure. They’ll then sketch poses, design accessories, clothing, and learn to render different types of fabric (like lace and sequins).
Each week builds on the week prior so that students continue to practice and hone their drawing skills.
Class takes place on Thursdays or Saturdays for 30 minutes, just before or after Fashion Design and Sewing for Kids making it the perfect addition to your child's sewing class.

This introduction to the sewing machine is a “crash course” on determining if your child feels comfortable with the idea of sewing. Before you (the Parent) invest in sewing classes, let your child “practice” on cutting and sewing a simple project. We go over basic sewing “safety rules”.
Sewing on zippers is a quick application any beginning sewer needs to know. Did you know there are many different ways to insert a zipper? In this class you will learn three basic ways to insert a zipper, different types of zippers and when to use them
Learn from our Unincorporated Streetwear Designers how to create the dopest hoodie while learning machine and sewing basics. Offered only this Fall/Winter season, this introductory three hour class is for students of all skill levels.
Sewing 101 is our foundation class, exploring the basics of sewing while learning to make a simple A-line skirt with elastic casing and little projects like bows and emoji pillows. The skills you learn thru these projects will help you with sewing simple curtains and pillows too!
This 4.5 hour class ( morning session - break - afternoon session) is designed to give students a chance to improve and build on sewing skills learned from our Straight Stitch Skill 1 class and concepts in sewing construction.
