Let us teach you the skills to achieve a flawless finish for your hand-knits alongside our experienced and award winning tutor.
You will learn how to tidily sew up your seams, how to pick up stitches to knit a band, the best ways to weave in your ends, and different methods of blocking and the tools you will need. Become an expert on finishing hand-knits!
Materials required:
1 x 50 gram ball double knit (8ply)
1 x pair 4mm knitting needles
Prior to class: knit three swatches (using the yarn and needles specified), cast on 20 stitches and knit 20 rows in stockinette stitch – cast off but do not sew ends in. Bring the rest of your ball of yarn to class.

100% deposit is payable on registration. Your place in the classes will not be confirmed until full payment is made.
Cancellation policy
Full refund of payment or eligibility to move your class to a different date will only be allowed if your spot can be filled on the original booking date. Failure to attend the class without prior notification will not be eligible for a refund or to have your spot moved to a different date.
Please be considerate. Should we not reach the minimum numbers required to run the class we will either cancel or postpone the class to another date. We reserve the right to cancel a class due to unusual and unforeseen circumstances.
We will try to avoid this wherever possible however sometimes this cannot be avoided. In this situation we will of course offer a full refund. We are sorry but we cannot be financially responsible for extreme weather conditions or any other situations that are out of our control.

This course is offered by Robyn's Cottage. Our Classes can be held weekdays or weekends and either in the morning, afternoon or in the evenings depending on demand.
We offer workshops in knitting and crochet. Our workshops are suitable for all skill levels, from absolute beginner to the advanced crafter who is looking to sharpen their skills and connect with fellow crafters in a fun environment.
Crochet is great for settling the mind and encouraging relaxation. Learn to do basic stitches, read patterns and complete projects in a relaxed and friendly space – left handers very welcome.
A class for those who would love a little help getting started on their knitting journey. Learn the basics of knitting by creating a useful wash cloth.
Join us on a Saturday for a cup of tea and an afternoon of knitting in good company.
