The course focuses on learning about the threats of fire in the workplace and the behaviour of fire, so that once completed, attendees will be fully aware of the unpredictable nature of fire and the appropriate action to take should they come into contact with one.
Course Content:
Identify the main legislation associated with Fire
List examples of sources of ignition, fuel & oxygen and relevant control measures
Identify the 4 main ways in which fire spreads
Identify different fire classifications and suitable extinguishers for each class
Describe how to operate an extinguisher

The role of Fire Marshal is integral in the planning of fire escape and prevention procedures in any workplace.
The Course is designed for larger companies or specific buildings and staff, where venerable or young persons may be present. I.e. Care homes, schools, etc. A certificate of attendance & competence will be issued covering all attending individuals.
It is mandatory for all staff to receive adequate fire awareness training on an annual basis. This 1.5 hour course can be conducted at your premises or venue of your choice for up to 12 members of staff.
