Fire Training Professionals was founded by Jim Kelly who boasts over 40 years’ experience in the Fire Industry. Backed by an incredibly hard-working team of qualified and accomplished trainers located throughout Australia, FTP is committed to providing workplaces with the right skills and information required to keep staff and the public safe during fire emergencies.

Here’s a rundown of Jim’s work experience and credentials:

• Joined the Country Fire Authority as a volunteer at 16.

• Joined the Metropolitan Fire Brigade (MFB) as a special service firefighter specialising in the maintenance of all firefighting equipment.

• Moved to the MFB firefighting branch

• Started Fire Training Professionals in 2006 offering First Response, EEC/Fire Warden Training and Fire Safety Advisor Training.

• Conducted Fire Crew and Crew Leader Courses for SEQ Water and HQ Plantations at various sites in Queensland.

• First Attack Training for Scot Petroleum at various depots and fuel stations throughout NSW and Queensland.

• Supplied online training for National Storage all sites throughout Australia and New Zealand.

• Qualified as a firefighter, pump operator, rescue and hydraulic platform.

• Gained a Cert IV in training and assessment.

• Qualified Fire Safety Advisor license # 007

• Workplace Health and Safety.
