This course teaches safety awareness when working with flammable and/or combustible materials. Participants will be instructed on how to store, use, handle, proper labeling and disposal of these materials.
Our instructors and OSHA safety consultants are working and retired Firefighters and EMTs with extensive experience in the Fire and EMS emergency environment.
Our fire prevention training will cover details of OSHA 1910 Subpart L (1910.155 through 1910.165), which includesBasic precautions for preventing fires and protecting workers.
Courses are hands-on and typically include a combination of classroom learning/discussion as well as rescue scenarios and real-world situations. Specialty fire/rescue training courses change often, so check back for new courses.
Fire Safety training is offered by District 7 Fire and Rescue for all skill level.Â
