This course has been designed for anyone who will be taking on the role of Fire Warden in their workplace. It will familiarise them with what their specific duties are for upholding fire safety and for ensuring evacuation procedures are effective.
It will also provide them with information about: the basic principles of fire, how to combat a fire, identifying risks and addressing them, fire safety arrangements that should be in place, the requirements for fire plans, and their involvement as a Fire Warden in emergency evacuation procedures.

The aim of this course is to provide those who are appointed as Fire Wardens on construction sites with an understanding of their role and responsibilities and some general Fire Safety knowledge.
This course sets a good foundation for your Responsible Person/s and appointed Fire Marshals with the course underpinning your Fire Safety Arrangements, which under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order you should have established.
This course in basic fire safety will raise awareness of the dangers of fire, the steps that can be taken to reduce the risk of a fire starting and what to do in the event of fire.
The consequences of ignoring fire safety regulations aren’t worth considering. With our Fire Safety course, you can better understand the Fire Safety Regulations (2005), so your team know what to do and where to go in the event of a fire.
