In the event of a fire they may be asked to help ensure the safe evacuation of staff / customers from your premises. This course is designed to help Fire Wardens learn and understand their role and responsibilities within current fire safety legislation. This interactive course is a combination of theory and ‘hands on’ practical experience using portable firefighting equipment on a fire, utilising a safe fire training rig (gas fuelled)
From Fire Extinguishers, Blankets and Hose Reels, to effective Signage and specialist solutions such as Fire Supression solutions for the Hospitality industry, McL Fire will ensure you have the necessary equipment, certified and maintained in full working order
This course covers the role of the designated fire marshal. It also gives you the opportunity to learn about the different types of fire extinguisher and how to use them correctly.
Over a half day period, Learners will learn basic fire safety principles, including: causes of fires in the workplace, basic fire safety duties and responsibilities, principles of fire risk control, safe use of portable fire-fighting equipment and more.
