This results in reductions in cost while improving the quality of required training and documentation. The council is also a founding member of the Association of Reciprocal Safety Councils (ARSC). ARSC is a non-profit corporation chartered on October 7, 1997 to enhance the sharing of resources, expertise, and best practices.
The results are shared cost with association members who maintain and utilize current state-of-the-art training programs for a fraction of the development cost while ensuring program integrity by reciprocal members via audits and program reviews.
This course introduces students to the New York City Fire Code and Fire Department Rules including their organization and terminology, along with Fire Code construction site provisions and all construction site fire safety requirements.
Required by OSHA 1910.157 and NFPA, this classroom and hands-on class on fire extinguishers is required annually. If your employee has a fire extinguisher, they must take this class in order to operate it while they are working.

The Kasey Program is a program that teaches children their fire & life safety skills by using Kasey, a black labrador retriever, to perform the skills we teach, i.e., stop, drop & roll, checking the door to see if it's hot, knowing two ways out, etc. Â
Fire extinguishers course is offered by Accurate Safety. Fire extinguishers apply an agent that will cool burning heat, smother fuel or remove oxygen so the fire cannot continue to burn.
