The above Qualification enables the Learner to legally work with or be in possession of a firearm in the daily performance of their duties. The Learner as part of the program is taken through the various Sections and Regulations of the Firearms Control Act of 60/2000.
The Learner gains knowledge effectively and legally knowing when, where and how to handle the firearm.

Firearm training is offered by Firearm Training Centre - Three D FireTrain.Specializing in rendering all your firearm training needs one-on-one, accommodating the individual’s requirements.
We offer various courses ranging from the Knowledge of the Firearms Control Act - Act 60/2000 applicable to firearm ownership, Basic Handgun, Basic Self-Loading Rifle/Carbine, Basic Manually Operated Rifle/Carbine and Basic Shotgun courses.
We pride ourselves on offering the best training and safety education for firearms in the region. Our experienced instructors and state-of-the-art facilities ensure that you receive the highest quality instruction and are fully prepared to handle firearms safely and responsibly.
Firearms training is offered by Bellville Pistol Club. Bellville Pistol Club offers a family friendly environment for men, ladies and children who are eager to enjoy and develop their shooting skills on club, provincial, national and international level.
Handle and Use a Manually Operated Rifle or Carbine training is offered by FCATC. FCATC has developed training material aligned to SAQA requirements and as PFTC Lead Service Provider distributes to other accredited firearm training providers.
