To go further, some people may need to schedule additional one-on-one time with an instructor in order to gain more knowledge in a particular area and/or work to increase their shooting skills and accuracy.
Our landlord has opened the building to the general public which means we may begin teaching Conceal Carry classes again. But since we are just opening up, our first duty is to reschedule those five classes of 25 people each that had to be cancelled this past Spring when NC closed down.
Once we have met those obligations we will begin opening up registration for new enrollees. But it will be a little while until that happens. This class is required by North Carolina to obtain the Concealed Carry Handgun Permit in order to legally carry a concealed handgun in public. This class is comprised of eight hours of mandatory classroom training with additional time spent on the range for a shooting practical.
This class covers firearms safety, State and Federal laws, safe storage, cleaning, parts & operation, shooting fundamentals and how to draw from a holster. There is both a state qualification and a written exam that must be passed to complete this course.
