First Aid, CPR & AED

The Basic Occupational First Aid, CPR, & AED Program is designed to teach the learner about the importance of first aid. On the completion of the course, it allowed us to do basic first aid for workplace injuries before any qualified person arrived. The element of team bonding will help create more efficient first aid for the casualties.

Course Objectives

At the end of the the the session, the learner will:

• Become a qualified first aider in in in compliance with the Occupational & Health Act 1994.

• Able to perform CPR using the DR-CAB for adultsss, children,,, & infantsss.

• Able to perform Heimlich maneuvers or abdominal thrusts to relieve choking victims for adult children & infants.

• Able to identify the sign & symptom and provide early care for sudden illnesses such as heart attacks, seizures, asthma, & strokes.

• learner will be able to use & describe the importance of an Automated External Defibrillator

• Able to help victims with burn casualties and care for burns.

• Able to recognise internal and external bleeding & describe how to care for internal and external bleeding.

• Able to recognise the cause (mechanism) of the muscular skeletal injury and care for the musculoskeletal victim.
