Why Food Handler Training?

Every food handler working in most States must have proof of completion of an ANSI accredited Food Handler Training course, including those who only handle food some of the time.

Workers in nursing homes, hospitals, schools, and licensed day care facilities must also receive food handler training. Unpaid volunteers are exempt from this requirement.

Training is Valid Statewide:

The Food Handler Certificate earned will be valid Statewide and is transferrable between employers. Certificates are valid for a term of 3 years. It's Required.

Most States require all persons working in a food service establishment to have a valid Food Handler Card. Our ANSI accredited Food Handler Training Program meets these State mandated requirements, including downloadable certificates to show proof of training.
