John Green Health and Safety offer Food Hygiene course. All training is carried out to current legislation and certification is provided. Providing employee training in health and safety areas is important to help ensure staff work without risks to their health.
Subjects covered include hazards and controls, food safety management and temperature controls, food poisoning control, personal hygiene, cleaning and disinfection, food pests, and the role of the food handler in keeping food safe.
This qualification is for a ‘low-risk’ role, where there is an element of food handling, such as bar workers, waiting staff, health care workers, kitchen porters and stock/storeroom staff.
These new qualifications are required to address the new occupational standards reflecting sector-specific needs. In line with this demand the CIEH level 2 awards in Food safety have been designed to address the food safety needs of catering, manufacturing and retail sectors.
