Our trainers have hands-on experience working in factory, warehousing, transport and recycling environments in such roles as trainer, mentor and management positions as well as some from a military background. Between them they have worked with and trained many people from different cultures and background.
Most of our First Aid trainers still carry out medical duty at events or work as volunteers as Community First Responders alongside the NHS. All our regulated training courses are on the RQF framework so you can be safe in the knowledge that we are teaching the most up-to-date information.
This one day course covers all the relevant information for those managers and supervisors working in the food industry.
This qualification is aimed at individuals who are, or intend to be, food handlers working in catering.
Food Handlers in the catering and hospitality industries who prepare/serve ‘high risk’ ready to eat foods should be trained in food hygiene, it is suggested to the Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering (previously called the Basic).
John Green Health and Safety offer Food Hygiene course. All training is carried out to current legislation and certification is provided. Providing employee training in health and safety areas is important to help ensure staff work without risks to their health.
The Level 2 Award in Food Safety is aimed at the training needs of people who handle food in the catering and hospitality sectors. It is recommended that a refresher course is taken every three years.
