Our courses develop learners' four linguist skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing. These skills can be applied to all the different languages we offer. In addition, learners are encouraged to develop an understanding of the different cultures of the language they are learning.

We are an Adult and Community Learning provider and operate a wide range of flexible, part time classes through a range of community venues and schools as well as our own venues: Leicester Adult Education College in the city centre and Bishopdale Adult Learning Hub in Beaumont Leys
French Course is Offered by Southsea Language School.
French language classes are offered by The University of Sheffield.
Our level groups as well as their progression are defined according to the Common European Framework of Reference for languages (CEFR). Our 4 skills classes are designed to develop the reception (listening/reading) and production skills of our students as well as their cultural knowledge.
This course is suitable for beginners or those who wish to enhance their skills. It is aimed to help the student grow confidence to speak French right away.
You must be enthusiastic and love working with children. You must also speak French. Confidence is a must as singing in front of large groups of people is essential (don't worry you don't need to be X Factor Final standard, but you should be able to carry a tune.
