After completion of the course, you will be able to apply these skills immediately in your workplace.

  • Explain the relevance, purpose and operation of the technologies that underpin web interactions.
  • Design and develop client-side components of a web-based application using contemporary tools, languages and frameworks, including HTML5 basics, Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) rules, Bootstrap and client-side JavaScript.
  • Produce and design simple webpages and responsive websites.
  • Identify options for and deploy web applications to suitable production environments.
  • Justify achieved outcomes by communicating coding choices and investigating coding solutions.
