The Gas Test Atmospheres training will teach the participant how to test the working atmosphere, use electronic test apparatus & to find out if it is safe for the proposed work.Participants will learn to interpret readings and take actions based on the interpretation.
Working environments may be hazardous, unpredictable, subject to time pressure, chaotic and expose responders to risk, on land or water, by day or night. Workplace atmospheres may include visible and invisible hazards and hazardous surfaces.

Licence & Assessment Information
Participants will be required to complete a series of workplace assessment tasks to demonstrate industry skills and knowledge described in the units of competency included in this course.
The assessment will include:
Demonstration of relevant knowledge through conversation practical and oral/ written assessment
Upon satisfactory completion of this course, participants will be issued with a Statement of Attainment, recognised within the Australian Qualifications Framework and issued under authority of the National Vocational Education and Regulator Act 2011.

Working at heights is a high-risk activity and a leading cause of death and serious injury in Australia. A fall from any height is dangerous and accounts for around 11% of worker fatalities annually.
The construction induction card (CPCCWHS1001) is nationally recognised, so once you have your Queensland issued white card, you are able to work in Queensland and any other Australian state or Territory
This course set is designed for new and experienced personnel required to work in confined spaces and work safely at heights at an operational level typically in the resources and infrastructure industries.
This unit leaves participants with the skills and knowledge required to operate an elevating work platform under 11 metres. The work required in this unit relates to the National Standard for High Risk Work but this unit does not provide the licence.
