German Language Courses is provided by Evergreen State College.You can study language along with the history, literature, and culture of a particular region or country either in stand-alone language courses or embedded in full-time programs along with other areas of study.Â
In this course, the student will be able to develop socially and culturally appropriate proficiency in interpersonal, interpretive, and presentational modes at the novice high level in German. Prerequisite: GER 1120 with a grade of "C" or higher.
The adult classes concentrate on communication. Through discussions of current events, cultural issues, and customs of the German speaking countries, fluency in speaking is achieved.
