The course demonstrates how risk management improves work safety and increases the effectiveness of a company’s performance. The course provides an overview of various hazard identification and risk assessment tools. Participants will learn how to use 3 simple risk assessment techniques that they will be able to apply to their work immediately, and they will also become familiar with more complicated methods.

Participants will learn how to take effective risk control measures based on risk prioritization, the hierarchy of controls, barrier methods and the timeline approach. The course content is based on international best practices and standards of the ISO 31000 Risk Management series.
