Each year in the UK, people are killed, injured, and suffer work-related illnesses while carrying out their jobs. This course includes essential health and safety information and guidelines, UK laws and legislation, as well as the different work-related illnesses and injuries. It covers basic electric, gas, and fire safety training, the types of PPE, how to work safely with hazardous chemicals, and other key topics.
By the end of the Level 1 Health and Safety in Construction course, you will be able to accurately assess and identify on-site hazards, evaluate workplace safety, and ensure full competence when carrying out high-risk tasks such as working at height. You will also be fully equipped with the practical knowledge needed to apply for a CSCS Card and work diligently in any construction environment
Learning Outcomes Of Health and Safety in Construction, Level 1 Course
By the end of the Level 1 Construction Health and Safety course, learners will be able to:
Demonstrate solid knowledge of fire, electricity and gas safety
Apply for their Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card
Understand the legal aspects of health and safety in construction
Assess the safety of a workplace and conduct a health and safety risk assessment
