Pursuant to section 2.4.2.i of the Safety Code for the construction industry, the Health and Safety on Construction Sites course is mandatory for anyone working primarily and usually on a construction sites. This course allows students to obtain the certificate (card) awarded by ASP Construction.
Pursuant to section 2.4.2.i of the Safety Code for the construction industry, the Health and Safety on Construction Sites course is mandatory for anyone working primarily and usually on a construction sites. This course allows students to obtain the certificate (card) awarded by ASP Construction.
This course allows participants to acquire the necessary knowledge of prevention in accordance with the regulatory requirements of the Safety Code for the construction industry (article 2.4.2.i.) to work safely and develop skills to identify risks and hazards in the workplace in order to take the necessary steps to eliminate them.
To obtain the ASP Construction card, participants must complete, in an organization recognized by ASP Construction, the 30-hour course and successfully pass the exam.
The Centre de formation Construc-Plus Vocational Centre results from a partnership between the Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board (SWLSB) and le Centre de services scolaire des Mille-Îles (CSSMI). Since October 2017, the Centre welcomes Francophone and Anglophone clienteles in the region in a bilingual, professional and representative environment of today’s labour market.
Please note that the Centre is open year round which means groups may start their training at any time during the year. The Centre closes only during the summer’s 2-week Construction Holiday and during the 2-week Christmas Break.
The Construction Safety Officer training program is delivered in partnership with Safety Central. This program will train students to ensure workers are following established policies and safety regulations of a job site.Â

Located to our Concord Office, is our Occupational Health and Safety Training Center. We are proud to have achieved recognition from the Chief Prevention Officer, who has certified RMG as an approved training provider.
The WHMIS in Construction 2015 training is an in-class program that provides a generic overview of WHMIS (employers must provide additional WHMIS training tailored to the specific material workers may encounter on each work site).
