CSD Construction is authorized by the Association paritaire pour la santé et la sécurité du travail du secteur de la construction (ASP) to offer the course Santé et sécurité générale sur les chantiers de la construction (Health and safety on Construction Sites). It’s a mandatory, 30-hour training course that takes place over two weekends.

When you pass the test, you’ll get a provisional certificate that will let you get your competency certificate and start working on construction sites. Then you’ll receive an ASP card by mail.

course objective is to certify trainees with a Pipeline Construction Safety certificate which demonstrates the individual's knowledge of safe work processes on a pipeline construction project.
Allow participants to acquire the necessary prevention knowledge based on the regulatory requirements of the Safety Code for construction work (article 2.4.2.i.) to work safely.
This course is designed to ensure that construction safety representatives understand their safety and health obligations. It will assist the construction safety representatives in achieving the ultimate goal of protecting their workers.
Upon completion of this program, participants will know how to conduct a joint health and safety committee meeting and acquire the skills to do an assessment, research a hazard and evaluate a study.
