Who Can Take The Health And Safety Representative Course?
The Health and Safety Representative course is for those who:
Are becoming a new Safety Representative within the company
Are already a Safety Representative but would like to improve their knowledge of the role as well as
Those who want to learn or advance their knowledge on the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the laws
Companies who employ between 6 – 19 workers are required to have a Health and Safety Representative. We also offer a Supervisor Basics course. This course is a 2 day training for supervisors.

The Health and Safety Representative course will educate those taking on the role within their company as it is a vital part in protecting the health and safety of everyone at the workplace.
The designated representative is the person who deals with any concerns about workplace hazards and shows the workers that the employers are committed to protecting them.
The course will cover theory and a short test. Each participant will also receive their own Green Book to use during the course as well as in the workplace. This will be a very useful tool in the workplace. Upon successful completion of the course you will receive your certificate.
Above all, the reason for this training is simple; we need those representatives to help ensure all safety measures and laws are being followed by the workers and employers.
