More specifically, you will have to acquire the following skills:

• Respond to patient calls and identify their needs;
• Provide basic and comfort care to patients (give them a bath, help them get dressed, etc.);
• Serve food and feed patients;
• Measure patients' blood pressure, take their temperature and pulse;
• Evaluate patients' breathing and their neurological signs;
• Distribute drugs;
• Record the amount of solid and liquid absorbed by patients;
• Drive patients to treatment rooms;
• Sterilize, store, prepare and distribute the equipment necessary for the various treatments;
• Respect strict rules of hygiene and safety during various techniques;
• Perform various treatments: dressings, preoperative shaves, etc .;
• Help other professionals perform specific tasks (eg respiratory therapy techniques, intravenous therapy, application of sterile compresses, removal of stitches, etc.);
• Monitor patients' progress and inform the healthcare team of changes in their condition;
• Record the observations in the patient's file;
• Take samples and provide care related to wounds and skin alterations;
• Contribute to vaccination.
