Course Details

If “Drink water”  is your only control measure for heat stress you have a lot to learn. Workers who are exposed to extreme heat or work in hot environments may be at risk of heat stress which can result in heat stroke, heat exhaustion, heat cramps, or heat rashes.

Workers at risk of heat stress include outdoor workers but can also include workers in hot environments such as bakery workers, boiler room workers, factory workers, and others. In addition emergency responders are at high risk because of their protective equipment and chemical protective clothing
