Students will be exposed to a variety of height risk circumstances in this course, and they will learn how to execute safe working practises in accordance with the rules and laws governing working safely at heights.
Students will gain knowledge about how to recognise risks, evaluate them, determine which risks are unacceptable, and put those treatments into practise.
The Working at Height Course Brisbane is designed for Safety Supervisors and will provide students the information and abilities to evaluate the risk of worker falls and how to create a rescue strategy in order to fulfil health and safety duties.
Participants will exhibit effective implementation techniques and perform rescues with appropriately selected rescue kits.
This competency unit offers the information and abilities needed to recognise and monitor dangers, locate and use rescue tools, and don personal protective equipment in accordance with organisational standards.
You will gain knowledge of the capacities and constraints of rescue apparatus, casualty and manual handling techniques, environmental dangers, personal hygiene, procedures and forms for reporting injuries and accidents in accordance with WHS legislation, ropes and knots, and safety measures during rescue operations.
