Hindi classes are designed for students who have never studied Hindi or know very little of the language.
At this level, students will learn basic grammar, gender, colors, days of the week, months of the year, seasons, numbers in Hindi, time in Hindi, vocabulary, greetings, and pronunciation.
By the end of the course, students will be able to have basic conversations in Hindi Language and know how to make simple sentences in Present tense.
The lessons focus on conversational practice through activities, oral exercises, simulation of real-life situations and reading. Students will also learn about Indian culture and tradition.

The San Jose Learning Center was created in January 2011 by SJSU MBA graduate, Alicia Forbrich.
Being the daughter of two immigrants (Japan and Germany), Alicia has always had a deep respect for other cultures, languages, and people.
This inspired her to start San Jose's most diverse language school, offering classes for over a dozen foreign languages to teens and adults.
The school also offers private lessons for all levels and corporate programs for many companies throughout Silicon Valley.
Alicia strongly believes that offering a variety of languages helps the community learn about each other's cultures and build stronger relationships.
