Classes will start with a warm up that focuses on muscle stretching, flexibility and also strength. Core and arm strength is used a lot in hip hop dance, especially with floor work and tricks, therefore warm up techniques such as abdominal exercises are very appropriate- however different ages have different strengths of exercises.

Hip Hop Dance lessons are offered by Project Beats Dance Studio. We are building a culture that focuses on continuing education. Focused not only for our students, but for our instructors, crew leaders, managers and directors. We teach dance classes for all skill and fitness levels and ages.
These classes work towards routines for competitions and performances, as well as drawing upon other dance style techniques to create hard hitting, strong and stylised dancers.
Our energetic Kids Hip Hop Dance Classes are for kids aged between 6 and 12 years old.
Focus is placed on performance skills to deliver a strong and entertaining hip hop performance. Routines are choreographed with an emphasis on developing fitness, strength, coordination and rhythm to age appropriate hip hop music.
