DurationOur Hip Hop classes use the latest sounds combined with technique from old-school right through to pop and lock. Our mixture of syllabus and open class is a great way to explore your rhythm and dance style. Our hip hop beginners classes start at 6, going through intermediate at aged 9,
In junior levels, we prepare our dancers for Ballet, Tap and Jazz exams with syllabus work; or try out a Fusion, Funk or Hip-Hop class to explore rhythm and music in a friendly, fun environment, with a mix of syllabus and open class work.
We also introduce contemporary classes for our nine and ten-year olds. Students can sit exams annually, and are also given the opportunity to perform on stage at the end of the year.

Hip hop dance refers to street dance styles primarily performed to hip-hop music that includes a variety of urban styles. Classes are taken by once a week with the goal of all students partaking in the July Hip Hop exams.

Hip Hop teaches swag and confidence through different styles, routines, group dances and freestyles. Students have the opportunity to sit APDA Urban Ignition exams and perform in our shows! Â
