DurationBoyz Only Dance is strictly for guys only! Dance styles include hip-hop and pop, street funk, free style, break-dance and other boys stuff! A fantastic class to get boys involved in expression of funky movement and dance in a safe, energetic and ‘cool’ environment! Classes are taught by a fully qualified teacher with emphasis on the enjoyment of movement and enthusiasm for mastering it and exploring its possibilities.
Boyz Only Dance provides a good foundation for all styles of dance or, in fact, any form of physical activity, and is an excellent starting point for extending a boy’s experience in movement.
Dance and movement skills are achieved by teaching the students how to isolate and co-ordinate simple movements, individually, then in combination with other movements.
No previous dance experience is necessary and the benefits include co-ordination, strength, stamina, agility, isolation and control, body awareness, self-discipline and the self-confidence to be expressive and confident in their movement.
