Formed in 1989 by Darlene Drummond, our Edmonton dance school has constantly grown for a reason. Darlene has always believed that a positive environment builds a child’s self-esteem and is the key for success, no matter how old you are or what you do.
Our goal is to PUT THE FUN BACK INTO DANCE and help our students to reach their goals, grow and excel using a creative and positive teaching style.

Hip Hop classes is offered by ETUDES Dance Studio. Dancers will learn hip hop moves and combos and perform a hip hop dance at the Spring Show.
The adult dancing program at Cathy's Dance Studio is for everyone, ages 18+. If you have never danced before and always wanted to learn or just want to get back into it, there is a class for you here. There are a number of adult students at all levels and various dance styles in our dance school.
This popular, urban-based dance form is usually performed to Hip-Hop or R&B music.
Anyone can join these high-energy classes, just bring some attitude and a little individual style! Hip Hop and Breakdancing classes give dancers the opportunity to dance to their favourite music and learn all the popular dance steps from the hottest music videos.
Most basic/easiest classes, with no/little experience required. Anyone can join! More experienced dancers may also take this level to focus more on the aspects of performing and details in class.
