Modern dance places emphasis on exploring emotion and expressing personality through movement. Dancers make use of steps from established forms of dance, but also create and introduce their own moves to make performances more personal.
Street Dance encorporates various dance styles including hip hop and funk styles such as popping and locking.
Our street dance lessons offer up to the minute choreography in a high energy, positive atmosphere. Our students also benefit from guest teachers who are currently performing professionally in the industry.
This class will focus on the foundation vocabulary of hip hop dance. Basic steps and grooves will be taught and variations of them will be explained to explore how each step can have multiple ways of dancing it.
