We are committed to being friendly, welcoming, inspiring and inclusive in everything we do, and work hard to create a sense of community within our academy, and the people we work with.
We offer weekly dance lessons for all ages and abilities – from children through to professionals, with as many adult classes as children’s.
All tutors are experts in their dance genres and are overseen by Anna, Hype’s Artistic Director.
Although they work to a Hype Dance curriculum she has devised, tutors have the creative freedom to bring their own personalities into their classes.
All adult classes are non syllabus-based to allow our tutors to work to the needs of the group, both physically and creatively, as well as to develop a well-rounded understanding of dance – having plenty of fun along the way!
Hip Hop / Street classes are offered by The Vernon Johnson School Of Dance. It is one of the longest running dance schools in Liverpool. Whether you have one or two left feet anyone can learn to dance. There is something for all ages and abilities.
At around age 7 or 8, boys move from Junior Funky Moves into Boys Street (I) and Grade 1 Modern to further improve their dance skills and to start learning basic dance technique. It is compulsory to learn both modern and street together.
Street Funk Dance Class Chester is a great way to learn dance, be a part of a team, meet new friends and have fun!
Push your boundaries and learn more technique and choreography, and most importantly work on musicality. This class will develop your individual style and your moves.
