Who can enrol in this qualification
All persons – minimum 14 years of age, who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings. Most workplaces require at least 1 person to hold a current CPR and First Aid Certification.
Suitability Requirements
A Pre-training review is conducted prior to enrolment to determine if the program is appropriate along with the required language, literacy, numeracy and oral communication skills. Participants must be able to bend and kneel on the floor to perform CPR for at least 2 minutes. No prior knowledge is required.

Practical Assessment
Observations during scenarios
Including at least 2 minutes of uninterrupted single rescuer cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) (5 cycles of both compressions and ventilations) on an adult & infant resuscitation manikin placed on the floor.
Completion
On successful completion participants will be issued with a Statement of Attainment with the following units:

HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
