In this small-group, hands-on class held in Forge's bakery, you’ll master techniques for home baking bread. From easy artisan loaves to tangy sourdough, we will bake two unique loaves of bread during our three-hour session. You’ll learn to use the tools required to successfully bake bread on your own.
During our intermission, you may pop into the cafe for a meal on us, or stay for an optional intensive on sourdough baking.

Prior to opening Bloc, Tucker and Jen had considered a small in-house baking program in the basement of Diesel or a commissary to have creative control over all the items they served. Opening Bloc took over and another 7 years quickly passed before they opened Forge Baking Company in October of 2014.
That same year, they took on an additional 5000 square feet to move all of the kitchens into one location and build out a training lab and a dedicated workshop.
If you haven’t tried goat meat, this class should be a must attend. Cook goat meat in a pressure cooker with spices and pair with Indian flat bread.
During this class, you'll learn how to make perfect Italian sourdough bread with the same equipment you can find in a regular home kitchen.
Yeast Breads Making class is offered by Academy of Culinary Education. The Academy of Culinary Education (“ACE”) offers an extraordinary culinary learning experience in an intimate stimulating environment.
In Anything But Basic Sourdough Bread Course, Dan will guide you through the entire process of baking his flagship bread, Country, known for it’s open crumb structure, creamy texture, and deeply caramelized crust.
