In this small-group, hands-on class held in Forge's bakery, you’ll master techniques for home baking bread. From easy artisan loaves to tangy sourdough, we will bake two unique loaves of bread during our three-hour session. You’ll learn to use the tools required to successfully bake bread on your own.
During our intermission, you may pop into the cafe for a meal on us, or stay for an optional intensive on sourdough baking.

Prior to opening Bloc, Tucker and Jen had considered a small in-house baking program in the basement of Diesel or a commissary to have creative control over all the items they served. Opening Bloc took over and another 7 years quickly passed before they opened Forge Baking Company in October of 2014.
That same year, they took on an additional 5000 square feet to move all of the kitchens into one location and build out a training lab and a dedicated workshop.
Well, here it is! a Sports Bar food kind of night! and because there is baking and cooking involved – you will have 2 instructors! Javi in charge of the breads and Chef Shelby of the burgers and sauce.
Bread Baking Class is offered by Omega Artisan Baking. Whether you are a beginner, terrified of yeast (fermentumphobic?) or an accomplished home baker wanting to move on to more complicated recipes using pre-ferments, there is a class for you.
